1st birthday sessions at our studio in St.Ives, Cambridgeshire
Your beautiful baby is about to turn one year old and it's time to celebrate! I offer a range of options to create a memorable 1st birthday gallery for you here at my photography studio in St.Ives, Cambridgeshire. A cake smash and splash photoshoot session is a very popular way to document your baby's first birthday - or even their second, third, fourth or twenty first!
Food allergies? Not really a cake fan, or just looking for something a bit different? Paint Splashes are a fantastic alternative, including the canvas that your little one paints as well as your photographs...and we don’t waste any cake - bonus! Or maybe your little one is a fruit monster? The healthy alternative to a cake smash is a fruit smash. The vibrant colours against a simple white backdrop make for some truly incredible images.
Bespoke experience
Every photography session is completely bespoke for each client. With a range of colour palettes and themes to choose from, along with a full client wardrobe, the possibilities are endless! Your gallery will be creative, yet timeless using colours, textures and themes that compliment your little one’s skin tones and your living space. Everything for your 1st Birthday celebration photography will be provided and is included in the session investment. We will plan your session together before the day during a complimentary consultation appointment, so that you can be fully prepared and safe in the knowledge that your images will be more than you imagined to display in your home.
Awesomely messy
All of these sessions are particularly messy - but as long as your little one has fun, that is the most important thing! Whichever photography experience you choose, I will always start with some portrait images to begin with; to let your little one warm up and get used to the surroundings. When we are ready and the smiles and giggles are in full flow, I will introduce the mess! Finally we will finish with ‘tub time’ images and bubbles to wash away the evidence that any mess was even involved! Each section will last around 15-20 minutes so as to not overload the senses too much and ensure that we have smiles from start to finish!
All birthday photoshoot sessions take place at my lovely Quayside photography studio in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. I can’t wait to welcome you soon to celebrate!
Pricing
You will be invited back to the studio 7-10 days after your session to view your final gallery of approximately 20 beautifully enhanced images.
It is at this point when you decide which collection and wall art you may want to purchase.
The photography session itself is £75. This fee is required to confirm your booking.
At no time are you are under any obligation to purchase any images. Should you, however, wish to order just a few images or prints rather than a full collection; due to the time involved in processing, ordering and printing etc. or creating the multiple versions of files for download there is a minimum order fee of £499.
