Birth Photography in Cambridgeshire
Birth photography is a specialised genre of photography that focuses on capturing the moments leading up to, during, and immediately following the birth of your baby.
As your birth photographer I will aim to document the raw and authentic emotions, the physical journey, and the overall experience of childbirth.
Sensitive and Unobtrusive
Your birth photographer should be a skilled professional who is trained to work in a sensitive and unobtrusive manner, respecting the privacy and medical protocols of the birthing environment, whether you choose to birth at home, in hospital or in a midwife led unit.
I wholly understand the importance of blending into the background and respecting the privacy and space of the birthing environment. I will work discreetly, without interfering with medical professionals or the birthing process. This allows you to focus on the experience while I capture the moments without disruption.
When is best to book?
If you would love a compelling visual story of your birth experience, I would recommend booking in as soon as possible. Due to running a busy studio and having two little ones myself, I only have the capacity to take on ONE birth photography client each month.
Birth photography captures the emotion, anticipation, and intensity of labour, as well as the joy, relief, and bonding that occur after the baby is born as I will stay with your for 1-2 hours once baby is safely in your arms.
These images preserve the unique and personal moments that make up the birth journey and the start of a new and exciting chapter in your lives.
Investment
Birth photography is unique for each client. I offer three packages, all of which include me being on call for you from your 37th week of pregnancy until your baby arrives and all digital images supplied in high resolution.
