A cake smash shoot is a fun, relaxed photography session where your baby gets their very own birthday cake to explore, squish, and (hopefully!) eat. There’s no pressure for smiles or perfect posing—just pure joy, curiosity, and often a lot of frosting in unexpected places.

We usually capture a few classic portraits first (clean and smiley!), then bring out the cake, and end with a warm bubble bath splash if you’d like.

When To Book
If your baby is turning one in May or June, now is the time to book in. I have just a handful of cake smash sessions left for spring and they do tend to get snapped up quickly.
Sessions take place at my cosy studio in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. Everything is included—set-up, outfit options, cake, and cleanup!
After the Photoshoot
At the end of your session, we’ll arrange a viewing appointment back at the studio in 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. This is when you’ll get to see your full gallery and choose your favourite images.
We’ll watch you slideshow, design your wall art and create beautiful gifts for your family. I also offer 0% interest payment plans to help make your favourites more affordable.
